When we were moving overseas with our beloved pup, Harvey we couldn’t bear the thought of subjecting him to the stress of traveling in the cargo hold of an aeroplane. He is a huge part of our family and locking him in a crate for hours in a dark and noisy space just wasn’t an option, so the hunt for an alternative began! After extensive research, we discovered private charter flights were the only option for pets to travel as passengers in the cabin. However, we soon found that information on the process was limited. No, pets travel in the cabin with you. Dogs must be securely tethered and on a lead at all times. Cats will need to travel in a carrier but the carrier will be in the cabin with you, either at your feet or on your lap.
We don’t have a set schedule. Flights will go ahead once fully booked. If you can be flexible with your departure date and route, there is a much higher chance that you will be able to secure a flight for you and your fur child.
